Demand for ‘correcting’ services’ fees
As oil prices fall, the Cabinet asked government authorities to collect fees and dues without delay, in addition to ‘correcting’ services’ fees for citizens and expats. This was based on the recommendations of the department following the government’s performance, in which it asked for creating a balance between the fees collected in exchange of benefiting from services in order to increase the financial sources, in addition to studying reasons for the drop in government revenues as well as taking measures to diversify income. —Al-Qabas
