Kuwait’s Amir receives phone calls from Qatari Amir, Iraqi President inquiring about his health

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received yesterday a phone call from Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani checking up on him after his recent health problem. Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Sabah thanked Sheikh Tamim for his kind feelings, expressing appreciation for his concern which is part of the strong Kuwaiti-Qatari ties. His Highness the Amir also wished Sheikh Tamim a long healthy life and more development for Qatar.

In the meantime, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call from Iraqi President Barham Salih who inquired about His Highness’s health condition. His Highness the Amir — who underwent regular health inspection after a minor setback — thanked the Iraqi President for his inquiry, saying that this phone call reflected sincere and strong relations linking the two Arab nations. His Highness the Amir wished the Iraqi people and leadership evermore progress and welfare.

Furthermore, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a letter from Deputy Chief of Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, congratulating him on his recovery following his recent health trouble. Sheikh Meshaal also expressed greetings and well wishes from all national guards’ members to His Highness the Amir. In the meantime, His Highness Sheikh Sabah thanked Sheikh Meshaal for his kind feelings, wishing him a long healthy life. – KUNA
