Kuwait reports 735 new COVID cases, five deaths

KUWAIT: The Ministry of Health announced yesterday registering 735 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 132,478. Deaths reached 816 with the addition of five fatalities. The ministry also announced that 738 patients have recovered within the same period, raising the total number of recoveries to 123,314.

Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad said that there were 120 patients receiving treatment at intensive care units, while those still receiving treatment amounted to 8,348. Health authorities conducted 5,659 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising the whole count to 971,489. – KUNA
