KUWAIT: A security campaign in various Hawally and Nugra areas led to the arrest and deportation of five expatriate women for roaming the streets in revealing clothes. The arrest was done by Hawally detectives at the orders of Acting Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Criminal Security Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh.

Gas cylinders An expatriate man was transferred to criminal detectives at the order of Farwaniya Security Director Major General Fahad Al-Shuwaie after finding his minibus loaded with nearly 50 gas cylinders. The man failed to provide an explanation to why the gas cylinders were in the bus.

Pharmacy break-in The manager of a pharmacy on Mohammad bin Al- Qasem Street said an unknown person entered through a back window and took KD 5,000 from inside. The window was tightly closed and the culprit used an electric chain saw to remove the metal bars, the Egyptian manager said. Criminal evidence is investigating the case.

Accident Six Sudanese nationals were rushed to Adan hospital following an accident on Kabad Road late Thursday night. Five ambulances went to the scene and three cases were taken to Farwaniya hospital and one case to Adan hospital by Airvac.

Sorcery A citizen insisted that a case be filed against suspects who threw a bag containing ‘sorcery’ material in his Sulaibiya house’s garden. Police are investigating.
