Temporary abattoirs in all governorates

abattoirsKUWAIT: The Municipality congratulated citizens and expats on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, and declared all main and temporary slaughterhouses were ready to receive sacrificial animals during this occasion.

The municipality said the main slaughterhouses in Hawally, Dhahr, Jahra and Farwaniya governorates work at full capacity 24 hours a day, in addition to the temporary abattoirs in the governorates. It said the Capital governorate has set up three temporary slaughterhouses at Sulaibikhat and Doha Co-op, Khaldiya Co-op and Jaber Al- Ahmad Co-op.

Hawally has four temporary slaughterhouses at Salwa Co-op, Bayan Coop, Zahra Co-op and Salam Co-op. Jahra has opened five temporary slaughterhouses at Saad Al-Abdullah Coop, Qairawan Co-op, Sulaibiya Co-op, Naseem Co-op and Nahdha Co-op. In Ahmadi, four slaughterhouses are in Um Al-Haiman Co-op, Jaber Al-Ali Co-op (block 3), Riqqa Co-op and Abu Halifa Co-op. In Farwaniya, a temporary slaughterhouse was opened at Abdullah Al-Mubarak Coop. The municipality said the locations of these slaughterhouses were determined according to Environment Public Authority (EPA) conditions.
