The good people of Kuwait

Abdullah Buwair

Years ago, all hands in Kuwait were held up in prayer and thanks to almighty Allah for the safe return of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah following a two and a half years medical trip. Today, the same is happening and the good people of Kuwait and those living in our beloved country spared no effort in praying and inquiring about the health of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah when he underwent medical checkups in the United States. Such good-natured true sentiments are not new in the land of humanity.

His Highness the Crown Prince has been known for his modesty, profound manners, insight and wise judgments for the greater good of Kuwait and the people living here. He did justice to his post. He has been exerting endless efforts to maintain national solidarity and prevent any attempts to plant the seeds of sectarianism in Kuwait, making national security a priority.
I believe that selecting the title of ‘Nawaf Al-Ahmad, Sheikh of Modesty’ for my book on him was well-deserved. His Highness’ character is a mixture of national achievements and fatherly kindness. The people of Kuwait know him very well. They know that he is always willing to aid the weak and bring justice to the wronged. He always advocates people in quest for rights. He is very honest and tactful on dealing with others. His doors and his heart are open to everyone. For him, people are all equal before the law.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad is highly human and friendly

He is a man of achievements who strongly believes that we are all mortals in this world. His role model was the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who was his father, brother and mentor. He took advice and consulted with him on all matters as a ‘Godfather.’ Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad is highly human and friendly. He has a big kind heart and is religious and keen on observing the regulations of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Prophet (PBUH). He felt pain on seeing a child in pain or a senior person in need. Thanks be to Almighty Allah for His Highness’ speedy recovery and safe return.
