Ministry employee arrested for forgery

KUWAIT: A female employee of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MSAL) was recently arrested for forging official documents and changing the maximum labor requirement number for a company from 15 persons to 154, said security sources. Case papers indicated that a company’s owner somehow managed to change his labor assessment from 15 to 154 and after arresting him, the owner confessed that a female MSAL employee helped him change the assessment in exchange for some valuable gifts. A case was filed and further investigations are in progress.

Family threatened A citizen took his drunk brother to Na’eem police station in Jahra for terrifying family members and threatening to kill all of them. A case was filed.

Robber caught on tape A citizen with a criminal record was recently arrested after being caught on video stealing a bike in Mubarak Al- Kabeer, said security sources. Case papers indicated that a citizen reported that his expensive bike was stolen and provided the police with a video recorded by a surveillance camera at his house showing the suspect during the robbery. Once indentified, policemen ambushed and arrested him. And on questioning him, the suspect confessed to committing nine similar robberies and led the police to some of the items he had stolen.
