Baby drowns in bathtub

KUWAIT: A two year old infant died when he accidentally drowned in a bath tub at his family house in Andalus, said security sources. The baby’s father found him in a state of unconsciousness and rushed him to Farwaniya hospital in an attempt to save his life but it was sadly too late.

Body found on roof The body of an Asian was recently found on the roof of a Farwaniya building with traces of inner ear bleeding. Security sources stated that further investigations are still under process to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death. Homicide is being heavily suspected.

Drug smuggler arrested An Asian was recently arrested on arrival at Kuwait international Airport for being in possession of a kilo of marijuana, said security sources. According to the head of the airport rangers Sulieman Al-Fahad, the suspect had the drugs hidden in a plastic box under a package of frozen meat.

Son threatens to kill parents A 19 year old citizen was recently arrested for threatening to kill his own parents in Waha. Case papers indicated that the father had called the police requesting immediate help because his own son was out of control and threatening to kill him along with his wife. When the police entered the scene, they found the young man was under the effect of drugs. A case was filed and the son was taken to the psychiatric diseases hospital.

Janitor molests woman The janitor of a building in Jahra was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing an expatriate woman living in the same building. According to the woman’s testimony, she was obstructed by the janitor when exiting her apartment. She claimed that he started sexually molesting her and that when she started rejecting his attempts, he tore up her cloths and grabbed her tightly. But after she started screaming loudly, he was hastily scared off. A case was filed and further investigations are in progress.

Man vanishes with KD2500 An Indian woman recently accused a compatriot of hers of fraud. The woman explained that the man had taken KD 2500 from her supposedly to make her his partner in a joint business project. The project never materialized and the man subsequently vanished. The woman provided Rumaithiya detectives with the suspect’s personal information and the police are still searching for the man.
